Hopkins Architects : Sustainable Design
Working closely with leading engineers Hopkins Architects have integrated technology into their innovative designs and built many award winning sustainable projects in the UK and abroad. From their origins in the British Hi-tech movement the Practice has evolved their approach to respond to the challenges of climate change and relate their buildings to the their specific context. Mike, who has led the design on many of these projects for the last 25 years, will illustrate this philosophy by showing several projects from concept through to construction including the British Antarctic Survey station, The London 2012 Velodrome, The School of Forestry at Yale and the WWF UK Headquarters.
